Yes, we calculate the pro-rata difference and update the change in your customers contract.
If the customer does an Up/downgrade we would:
- Calculate the difference in usage
- Calculate the amount of days from today to the end of the subscription period
- Calculate per day usage price
- Calculate price prorata
- New Invoice / Credit Note Generation
- We will generate an invoice for that usage difference with the prorated amount (if the new contract price is higher than the unused price, which was already paid)
- You will have to generate a Credit Note for that usage difference with the prorated amount (if the new contract price is lower than the unused price, which was already paid). In this case the customer will have a remaining balance on his/her favor and you will have to generate the credit note.
